“Up to 20% of kidney transplants each year are re-transplants. This underscores the need to maximize the success of future transplants by identifying rejection risk and manage patients in a more proactive way.”

About NephroSant

NephroSant is the cumulation of many years of research and studies at Stanford and University of California San Francisco (UCSF) looking at ways to better predict and prevent the progression of kidney disease. Studying urine, as opposed to other types of samples, is ideal since it comes directly from the kidney and allows a unique view into the health and potential damage of the organ. This approach can provide a better understanding as to what is happening within the kidney during different stages of disease. Thus we can tailor our approach to limiting and ideally reversing kidney disease in all forms. This is the vision and mission of NephroSant.
